Firmly entrenched at powerhouse Cherry Creek, Tom Doherty didn’t jump at the chance to take over just any program, but he did when the opportunity game at Grandview. Doherty was introduced to players as the Wolves’ new head coach Tuesday, taking over the program guided successfully for the last 17 years by John Schultz, who stepped down earlier in March.
