Michael David Scully, 58, of Aurora, CO passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Born on April 19, 1955 in Fontainebleau, France; he spent his youth growing up as a military dependent having lived in France, Panama, Texas and Colorado. He attended Aurora Hinkley High School and other than a brief time in Florida, Mike spent most of his adult life living and working in Aurora, CO.
Mike was a loving son, brother, father and friend. He was passionate about playing basketball and watching the game played at all levels. An avid Denver Broncos fan since the 1970’s, his loyalty never wavered throughout the years.
Survived by his son, Brian Scully; mother, Una Rae Riebling (Ergeson); step-mother Jenny Scully; sister, Crystal Gazlay; step-sisters, Linda Chen, Sandi Riebling; brothers, Patrick Scully, Jr., Timothy Scully, Daniel Scully, Ryan Scully and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Patrick Scully, Sr., and step-father, Eddie Riebling.
A private memorial service was held on December 6, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (East Metro chapel) at 190 Potomac St. 80011 Aurora, CO.
