Incumbent Democrat Steve O’Dorisio held onto to his seat as Adams County Commissioner for District 4, fending off Republican Joyce Thomas, a longtime public servant and former mayor of Federal Heights.

As of 10:06 p.m., Tuesday, O’Dorisio had garnered 55.3 percent of the votes to 44.7 percent for Thomas.

District 4 borders Denver County to the south, encompassing Westminster and Sherwood. The district also includes the junctures of Interstates 270, 76 and 25, making it a major thoroughfare in the Denver metro.
