So what’s the deal where people get “full” and quit eating? Why would you do that?

There are two degrees of “full.” The first one is where you get to the point where you’re kinda uncomfortable and know you should stop eating. I never stop there.

The second degree is where you’re flirting with the laws of physics and disaster.

Sometimes I stop there, but not always. It’s where you’ve consumed food larger than your head, abdomen and a smart car, and you’re pretty sure you can still finish off the cake your wife and kid left on their plates. I might pause for a few minutes at this point. But stop eating? Huh. While you’re still conscious? What’s that about?

There is actually a third degree of full, but it’s really more of a medical emergency. I’ll keep you apprised.
