LETTER: Drug-sniffing dogs in schools stink


DEAR EDITOR: The Colorado Supreme Court recently ruled that a drug-sniffing dog may only be used if law enforcement has a warrant or probable cause that a crime has been committed.

Perhaps The Sentinel could have addressed why Aurora Public Schools and the Aurora Police Department continue the practice of using drug sniffing dogs in violation of established case law.
