George Wesley Chafey
October 10, 1941 – May 31, 2016
George W. Chafey, 74, passed away unexpectedly over Memorial Day weekend. He was born October 10th, 1941 in Neptune, New Jersey and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Wynn), his sister Gail and his wife, Linda Stine. George and Linda moved to the Denver area in 1988 and eventually settled in Aurora, much to the delight of Linda’s extended family in Colorado.
We will miss George’s delightful sense of humor, mischievous laugh, thoughtfulness and innate kindness. He is survived by his children Clarissa (Samori), Justin and Candice, siblings Marion Legier, David (Dianne), and Mary Ellen Patterson, 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws, and his canine companion, Hunter. Rest in peace, George! We know Linda is happy to have her George back.
