ARVADA, Colo. | A 20-year veteran of the Arvada Police Department responds to major crimes and trauma almost daily, but on Labor Day he got a hug.
KMGH-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1IW0jyF) dispatchers posted on Facebook that a woman stopped by the Lake Arbor Police Station and was very upset about the loss of members of law enforcement nationwide. She wanted to give a hug and met Officer Chris Steiner, who says he responds to almost every fatality the department handles.
He said it’s nice to get a hug rather than look over the trauma.
