WHEAT RIDGE | Firefighters say a person using a pepper spray substance in room and hallway prompted an evacuation at a motel Saturday afternoon.
Three people at the American Motel in Wheat Ridge were taken to the hospital with respiratory issues and itchy eyes. Twenty people were treated on scene.
According to KUSA-TV (https://tinyurl.com/pvgpsu6), no one taken into custody. After the rooms and hallways were cleared, guests were allowed back inside.
