LOVELAND | A 37-year-old Texas man found dead in a northern Colorado river has been identified as Michael Brown of Houston.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports that the Larimer County Coroner’s Office also determined that Brown died from injuries suffered in an accidental fall from a cliff.

Brown’s body was found last Friday in the Big Thompson River. He had been reported missing after he became separated from his brother as the two were hiking to a friend’s cabin Thursday night.
