'Tweeners' – musicians who play a short set between other sets – is a long and revered Telluride tradition. A surprise guest June 21 was Jonathan Edwards, the '60s and '70s folk rock star who was simply attending the festival. Accompanied by Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas, Edwards was in fine voice as he sang hits like "Sunshine" and "Shanty" and did a beautiful version of The Youngbloods anthemic "Get Together." It was unexpected treat. (Photo by Hans Lehndorff)
