AURORA | The Arapahoe County coroner’s office on Monday, April 4, identified two teenagers as those killed Saturday in a head-on crash on East Sixth Avenue.

Asante Ray, 18, and Kanyon Reynolds, 17, both died of blunt-force trauma, the coroner said.
Ray was driving a sedan and Reynolds was a passenger when it slammed into a black SUV on Sixth between Picadilly and Tower roads.
Police said the sedan, which was headed eastbound, crossed over the middle lane and struck the SUV in the westbound lane, according to APD Sgt. Chris Carleton.
One person in the sedan was killed on the scene, while two others in the vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital – one of them later died, according to a tweet from Aurora Fire Rescue.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to a local hospital.
Carleton said there is “no indication of any criminal activity” in the crash at this point in the investigation.
The area of the crash at Sixth Avenue and Tower Road was closed for most of the morning hours Saturday as investigators worked to clear the scene.
