ASPEN, Colo. | GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is visiting Aspen for some private fundraisers.

The Aspen Times (https://bit.ly/LJ3iPR) reports that Susan Crown and William Kunkler will host a reception and then a dinner at their home. Ticket prices range from $2,500 for the reception to $50,000 for a seat at the dinner and preferred status at the Republican National Convention.

On Tuesday, Romney is holding a town hall meeting in Grand Junction. According to the campaign, the event at Central High School is open to the public.

The fundraisers come two days after Romney’s campaign opened an office in Grand Junction as part of a national effort targeting swing states.

Romney’s campaign says it has been working with national and state party officials for months to build field operations across Colorado.
