CASTLE ROCK, Colo. | Douglas County sheriff’s deputies have blown up a suspicious object found on a highway.
The sheriff’s office says a man testing water found a suspicious pipe with wires coming out of it on the roadside Monday and called authorities.
According to KMGH-TV (https://bit.ly/LKQBTo ), bomb squad technicians used a robot to detonate the pipe and investigators are now trying to determine whether it was a functioning bomb.
