AURORA | The Colorado campaign for Hillary Clinton is bringing Planned Parenthood women’s health advocate Cecile Richards to the Aurora campaign office Saturday morning to meet with and rally volunteers and supporters, campaign officials announced Friday.
“Hillary Clinton believes that issues that affect women’s lives are not just ‘women’s issues’— they are family issues, they are economic issues, and they are crucial to our future competitiveness,” campaign officials said in a release.
Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, will rally supporters at 10 a.m. Feb. 20, Saturday, at the Clinton Aurora campaign headquarters, 10730 E. Bethany Drive, Suite 310.
Richards will discuss Hillary Clinton’s “lifelong commitment to protecting women’s access to health care, and encourage Coloradans to caucus for Hillary on March 1,” officials said.
Richards is slated to make a similar appearance at a campaign event at noon at 4770 Baseline Drive in Boulder, and at 3 p.m. at 3900 S. Federal Blvd. in Sheridan.
