Tech. Sgt. Andrew Wanzer has been doing outstanding work for the 460 Space Wing in his role as NCO in charge of log plans. He brings critical knowledge and experience to the installation’s state of readiness and the wing’s overall deployment process, supporting active duty and reserve taskings, thereby ensuring Team Buckley support to the downrange combatant commanders. Wanzer has also had a huge positive impact on the base populace, as he established the Cruisin’ Panthers automotive classes. With no auto hobby shop on the base, these classes have afforded military, civilian and dependents a great opportunity to learn more about basic vehicle maintenance along with expanding their understanding of overall vehicle care. Finally, Wanzer’s dedication to mission, the Air Force and his country has been rewarded with him receiving the honor of being accepted into Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., where he will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.
— Lt. Col. Samuel Aston, 460th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander.
