Staff Sgt. K’Greong Cillpame enlisted in the Air Force in 2006 to serve her country and learn discipline. She has been in the public health career field her whole career. Her first assignment was at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. She has also been stationed overseas at Osan Air Base. During this time, she was vital to earning a health service inspections rating of excellent. She then moved to Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, where she enhanced her leadership skills by becoming the sole infection control officer for the entire medical treatment facility, a position normally filled by a commissioned officer. Sergeant Cillpame was selected as medical group NCO of the quarter during 2015 and trusted healthcare hero for the Air Force Medical Service. She currently is aspiring to become a physician assistant and possibly a commissioned officer in the Air Force.
Currently, Sergeant Cillpame is awaiting selection for developmental special duty as an Air Force recruiter. She hopes to inspire future recruits by sharing her experiences and positive attitude. Her parents still live in Redlands and she has two brothers: a doctor of physical therapy and an entrepreneur. Sergeant Cillpame has a boyfriend that is a defense contractor serving in Afghanistan and they hope to be reunited very soon. She loves to travel and has been to Aruba, Hawaii, and is planning a trip to the Philippine Islands and Vietnam in the near future.
