Legislators and Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia attended the American Military Family Honor Rally that was sponsored by Rep. Nancy Todd (D-Aurora) April 16 at the State Capitol. The AMF Honor Rally was organized by Gold Star Family Dan and Michelle Benavidez, who lost their son, Staff Sergeant Kennith W. Mayne, in combat. The  rally is one stop on a 64-day campaign that began on April 13, 2012, at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs and will end on June 15, at the Middle East Memorial Wall in Marseilles, Ill.
