STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. | Authorities say a man wanted in connection with the death of a young woman near Steamboat Springs will be jailed after being found near Trappers Lake.

Twenty-two-year-old Cole J. Pollard was found Wednesday morning area following a search prompted by the discovery of his vehicle there the night before.

The Routt County Sheriff’s Office previously named Pollard as a person of interest in the slaying of 22-year-old Patricia Richmond but after his capture it said he would be booked into jail on charges to be determined.

Richmond’s body was found tied up and face down in the home of her fiance’s parents, Amy and Russell West, on Monday near the community of Clark north of Steamboat Springs. Sheriff Garrett Wiggins says Pollard is a distant cousin of Richmond’s fiance.
