COLORADO SPRINGS | A Colorado Springs man is recovering after he dropped his gun and it went off while he was mowing his lawn.
Police say the man had a loaded handgun in his pocket on Sunday when it fell out, struck the sidewalk and discharged. The bullet hit the victim’s lower leg.
The man, who was not identified, was treated and released from a hospital.

OK, are we scared enough yet? The people who believe their lives are threatened when they mow the lawn have to get a grip. The country is generally terrified because some people (insert your favorite hate group here) continue to frighten people about every little thing. The world is very dangerous, but not from mowing your lawn or taking a walk or watching TV. The reason stories like this are news is because they are EXTREMELY RARE. Otherwise it would just be life.
