DENVER | House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s startling primary loss this week to a tea party-backed opponent illustrates how the GOP finds itself paralyzed by immigration reform. The policy most party leaders agree is best for the Republican Party’s future is risky for most House Republicans seeking re-election in the fall.

Almost all represent districts that are home to few minorities and they are in greater danger of losing to a primary challenger than to a Democrat in the general election. That leaves little incentive for the GOP-controlled House to even touch an immigration overhaul that would to grant citizenship to many of the 11 million people living in the country illegally.

Virginia Primary Cantor

In Aurora, both the Republican incumbent, U.S Rep. Mike Coffman, and his Democrat challenger for the 6th Congressional District seat, Andrew Romanoff, are working to make the immigration issue work in their favor. Romanoff is trying to paint Coffman as a tea party favorite making an about face on the immigration reform front for political expediency in the redrawn Aurora congressional district. Coffman says he’s been consistent about the issue and is working to lead the way in the House for immigration reforms and pick up support from local Hispanics and moderates along the way.

Election observers have said that what could be most controversial even in Aurora is the issue of “amnesty” for illegal immigrants. In Aurora, Coffman risks alienating his own base if he’s seen supporting immigration reform with a wide “path to citizenship,” especially if tea party activists recharge the amnesty controversy. He risks alienating moderates and perhaps even the traditional Republican base if he seen as an anti-amnesty lawmaker. Coffman does not have a primary race this week.

Economics professor David Brat hammered Cantor, R-Va., for purportedly backing “amnesty” for people in the U.S. illegally during his primary challenge. He called his unexpected victory a wake-up call that “immigration reform is DOA.”

After Cantor’s defeat, Republicans are left in a quandary before the 2016 election — what to do about an issue that’s often a winner in primaries but could cripple the party in a White House race before a more diverse electorate.

“Pain can be a good teaching tool sometimes,” said Mario H. Lopez, a Republican and executive director of the Hispanic Leadership Fund. “It may take another White House beat-down before some folks understand what kind of cliff they’re walking over.”

Many people involved in the immigration debate have similar predictions about what will happen next: The House takes no action on an immigration overhaul, President Barack Obama makes good on his promise to ease deportations by executive action later this summer, and that inflames the GOP even more, dooming any bill in 2015.

When the next presidential race gets underway, a broad field of the GOP’s presidential candidates will be competing for the support of primary voters who are far more opposed to an immigration overhaul than most Americans.

To some Republicans, that brings back memories of 2012, when Republican Mitt Romney adopted tough-on-illegal-immigration rhetoric to win the Republican presidential primaries. On Election Day, Hispanic and Asian voters overwhelmingly backed Obama.

The lone policy recommendation of GOP’s post-mortem on Romney’s loss was to pass immigration reform. While 14 Republican senators voted for an immigration overhaul that chamber passed last year, the measure was declared dead on arrival in the House. Republican lawmakers, many of whom were focused on the midterms, sought to avoid angering their base.

Immigration skeptics argue that’s the right way for the party to appeal to the working class.

“There aren’t enough rich people and there aren’t enough businesspeople to elect people to office,” said Roy Beck, president of Numbers USA, which advocates for less immigration and believes those in favor of an overhaul are catering to financial elites who want to import cheaper workers into the U.S. “They have to have wage-earners.”

Immigrant rights groups complained that Cantor was part of the reason the overhaul died in the House, but as majority leader he opened the door to narrower measures that would grant citizenship to people brought to the U.S. illegally as children. That was enough to fuel his primary challenger.

It wasn’t immigration alone that doomed Cantor. The Virginia congressman sowed resentment by spending too much time focused on national issues as majority leader and not enough tending to his district. Others note that South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham, a chief architect of the Senate’s immigration overhaul, easily won his primary Tuesday night against a batch of tea party challengers.

And yet, the message appears clear to Republicans in Congress. On Thursday, House Speaker John Boehner said a bill probably wouldn’t be possible this year.

“Perception is reality in politics, and the perception among Republican members of Congress is going to be that (Cantor) lost because he took a somewhat squishy stance on immigration,” said Republican pollster Glen Bolger, who expects similar caution among 2016 hopefuls.

“You’ll see the volume turned way down on that,” Bolger said. “You’re going to see a lot more caution and a lot less risk-taking.”

Among the 2016 prospects taking care with the issue is Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who has received a tepid reaction from some Republican activists for a proposal that would let some people living in the U.S. illegally receive citizenship. He told reporters this week the immigration debate has become too charged.

“We’re trapped in this rhetoric and we have to get beyond that,” Paul said.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio changed course on immigration in the wake of a backlash from GOP activists that followed his work as one of the eight co-authors of the Senate overhaul. He now argues the country shouldn’t consider creating a citizenship pathway until it secures its southern border.

“That was true before last night,” Rubio said the day after Cantor lost. “That’s especially true now.”

Matt Schlapp, a Republican consultant who worked for President George W. Bush, said the varying politics of immigration doom the prospects for any near-term action. After this year’s midterms, Democrats are sure to spend the next two years beating up on Republicans for the lack of movement, which in turn will lead the GOP to dig in deeper.

“If we have divided government, the politics have to work for both parties,” Schlapp said. “Until we get these things worked out, this just isn’t going to happen.”

  1. With 13 illegal alien bachelors (20 to 30 age) living next door in 2006-2007 period, piles of trash accumulated, 13 cars parked on lawns, in garage, driveway, coming and going at all hours of day and night, my Aurora street was dangerous then. When they moved in middle of night (after Colorado passed immigration law in 2006, house sat vacant for next year, until sold by mortgage holder as fixer-upper for $89,000. Buyer found water meter and electric meters had been bypassed, and house trashed. Appraised $186,000 in 2006. Buyer replaced all drywall inside, cleaned and painted, laid new carpeting, plowed front and back yards (mixing in full load of stockyard soil-manure) reseeded and established new lawns. New roof, and all new lighting fixtures replaced, and recently sold for $140,000. Whole section of Hoffman Heights suffered loss of property equity. My house dropped from $186,000 in 2006, to $92,000 in 2010, now $106,500 with similar lot and 2 car garage. City of Aurora lost water and other fees, while Xcel lost service used. Aurora did not lose since they received additional fees and payments from us who paid our bills.

At the same time, my neighbors on south side, immigrated legally, had problems with income due to the illegals, got behind couple months, and lost their home to foreclosure. Young, hard working couple, with 2 small children, the kind of neighbors I want. Her younger brother and 2 uncles, small business people in Mexico, assassinated about 2 years ago by Drug Cartel who tried extorting them. Guns used were from FAST AND FURIOUS, sold to Drug Cartel through U.S. I see lawyers delaying and fleecing immigrants for attorney fees; I see them underpaid by employers;, and legal immigrants pay a heavy price. At townhouse meeting with Rep. Bob Beauprez in 2003, I stood in parking lot after meeting with a very distinguished Mexican Man, immigrated to US years ago legally, received his citizenship. Age about 60. With tears in his eyes, he pleaded Bob to oppose amnesty, and though he has relatives and friends in Mexico who want to move here, HE SAID MAKE THEM COME LEGALLY.

      1. I had the same thing happen to me as happened to Frank2525 about 3 years ago here in Denver, Colorado. So, jerry, it is not a whine …. it is a fact. Now, jerry, why don’t you just put your cheese and whine in a place where the sun doesn’t shine. Poetry just for jerry!!

    1. I am glad Cantor lost. I am a strong supporter of the Tea Party for many reasons, including being a Christian. My girlfriend is from the Philippines, but we believe in doing things legally, not free amnesty. I like your post. Thanks for sharing your comments.

      1. Thanks jv. About 4 years ago I made 100 business flash cards with 100possible questions asked by immigration verbal testing, with answers on back. Laminated them, then cut to card size. Friend tested Philippine lady, and when she went to Regis College for test, passed, and became US citizen. Her father was Philippine Scout with US Army, survived Bataan death march, but was killed in prison camp. She had completed all needed but the verbal. My son-in-law (deceased) whose father was first Philippine to be appointed to executive office in Hawaii, had 1 child who died at birth, then 3 who have all gained degrees. Serina has PhD, works for NASA, Joseph is Captain in Marines, and William works in Aurora. I am proud of them. Blessings to you. In my military service (1950-1976) I worked with many who was born in Europe, served in Army there, and became citizens through legal processes. By the way, Teddy Kennedy promised US and Pres. Reagan that giving amnesty to 3 million illegals then, would solve the problem, never to happen again. And for Jerry’s remark following this, keep the cheese for munchies with your pot.

        1. Interesting the comment on Ted Kennedy, Sources in Russia blogged that he solicited the KGB to assassinate President Reagan, The Kennedy clan made fast and sure TK has a plot at Arlington.
Also he TK brought the abrupt change to Federal defaulted student loans, branding that issue “whatever it takes” to collect the money. Enacting the exact opposite his brother JFK died for with a 7 year statue of limitations, and $15 minimum payments. Now they are teeter tottering over 25 year mandates and a percentile of indebted incomes.
Thank you and your family for service to our country.

          1. Had not heard or read that about TK and Russia. I did read that John Kennedy was supposed to have been assassinated by Cuban Intelligence, and also that our CIA had killed him. But will always be those kind of stories, just as the flap of who killed Lincoln? Take care.

          2. There are more insider “jobs” that occur in the world than meets the eyes and ears of the public. Operation “Paper Clip” has rendered so many cover ups in the US, the CIA is obsolete for investigating in the National Interest, So often it is a contest of grey matter to determine if the government, the mob, or foreign agency are behind criminal activities.

God is Life, Country is Liberty, and Family, is the Pursuit of Happiness.

  2. I am glad Cantor lost. I am a strong supporter of the Tea Party for many reasons, including being a Christian. My girlfriend is from the Philippines, but we believe in doing things legally, not free amnesty.

    1. JV! your ridiculous. I bet those in your girlfriends family are worse off and feel better off when they marry a Tea Bagging Christian. FYI, The Hispanic community does not want free amnesty, they want an improved life. I am a true conservative not a tea bagger who all they do is whine and complain about everything and want to make society think they can do better then others. Do not forget your girlfriend is a minority who doesn’t know better!

      1. You need serious counseling. You have no idea what you are talking about. She and I know more about what is going on than you apparently, and we live it every day of our lives. The Tea party is Christian based conservatism that believe in the facts, not opinions or attacking people simply for the fact of doing it. Actually, I know many Mexicans who are illegals and they don’t care about our country or laws. I know how they are. My good friend Jose is a legal immigrant, citizen now. He knows better than you do just how much people use and corrupt the system from within. Obama is just going along with the new world order agenda of wanting to mix race and problems and disease so the country will be attacked in an anti-Christian way. What all of these corrupt people fail to realize is they are only making their lives more dark and worse than they will ever know. Having faith is the BEST and most right life you can have no matter what. If people from other countries want a better life, do it where they are at. Hold their governments accountable for once. The United States is not perfect and not really free either, and all of this from our government over many years is only adding to the problems. I just separate myself from it. That is what is called being blind. I am ending this conversation. I am not going to argue. Wake up! Seriously!

  3. I do not favor amnesty in any way for the people who have come to this country ILLEGALLY. What part of that do you politicians, especially GOP politicians, not understand. Put some teeth in our employment and residential laws. The people who favor this want people that will work CHEAP. They are using these ILLEGALS to artificially lower wages in this country. They do the same thing with visas to bring in professionals from other countries such as India and Pakistan. Increase the fine for hiring ILLEGALS to something meaningful like 1 million dollars each and substantially increase the fines for renting to ILLEGALS. I am not against legal immigration. I am against ILLEGAL immigration and I am against using those legal immigrants to artificially lower workers salaries.
Stop pandering to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and the interests who encourage them to come here.

  4. On average, only about 50 percent of registered voters show up at the polls. That’s because the disenchanted think that there’s no difference between the two parties, especially on immigration. Mr. Beck is right about middle class working Americans’ need to vote if they want better, more representative government.

Brat identified immigration as a jobs issue—more immigration means more jobs competition and stagnant or falling wages, a bonanza for the corporate elite. That’s the message other GOP candidates should emphasize when they campaign, especially in this sustained period of high unemployment.

If the GOP thinks they can win Latino votes by helping to pass a sweeping immigration bill, they’re distantly out of touch. There isn’t a single example of the Republican Party gaining electorally from immigration since the 1986 Reagan Immigration Reform and Control Act. Hispanics and other immigrants will always overwhelmingly vote for the Democrat. If there is such an example, please point me to it.

    1. Really like Mr Brat’s policies. The national GOP sells us all out trying to out-stupid the Democratic Party!

  5. If it was not for the FACT that over 80% of the more that 17Million
( government estimates ) illegals are living off of criminally collected welfare programs and stolen IDs, and the FACT that in areas where illegals reside see a more than 70% increase in crimes such as rape, drugs and burglary, If weren’t for the FACT that these same ILLEGALS vote illegally in elections and many do so multiple times, another violation of the laws, or for the FACT that our schools have been dumb ed down to allow the children of illegals to keep up only to drop out, thus destroying our children’s right to a quality education, or the FACT that illegals have taken jobs to which they are not allowed by law to hold thus putting legal citizens out of work and forcing wages lower. YES if it weren’t for these and many more FACTS perhaps people would not have a problem with illegal immigration. But perhaps the worst FACT of all is that many illegals DO NOT come here for a better life they come here to live off of the hard work and efforts of the AMERICAN PEOPLE, just like leaches, sucking the system dry and leaving only a dead corps behind. So the next time you see a illegal (no they aren’t that hard to spot) THANK them for all they have done to destroy your children’s future and your hopes of retirement and for all the problems they have caused in this nation. After ALL where would this nation be without 17 Million more criminals living outside of D.C.

    1. As A member of the Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma I agree. I wish all those who arrived illegally since 1492 would go home. They have destroyed our country.

      1. What was the immigration law in 1492? Where was it published? Past civilizations have moved all over the earth for millenniums. From where did the Indians come?

        1. So I can take your house, then write a law saying others can’t take it? White privilege sure is nice. Kind of like the treaties that were created only to be broken by the newcomers. No one really knows where the original inhabitants came from, yet they were the original inhabitants. There is no way to justify what happened to my ancestors, but it is funny how quick those with the power and their own written laws can say it is ok for us, but no one else.
So if the Natives would have had a law that said you can not stay you would have left?

          1. History told me the Indians were fighting tribe to tribe, like the Arabs and all other countries. Even enslaving, buying and selling of indian and white slaves after the Europeans arrived. I don’t remember the Europeans or the Spanish having to teach the Indians to fight each other. Many of my relatives were held east of the Alleghanies because Indians from Ohio went down into Potomac country to hunt and fight there. Reason colonists built forts, now towns like Ft. Ashby, etc. etc. But that was then, and now is now. Right? And it seems we still have sexual and economic slavery all over this planet?

      2. You are aware that the Solutreans were here in 40,000 B.C.
The Beringians arrives in 9,000 B.C, and stole the land.

      3. As a member of cocktaw WHATEVER, I would say Native Americans are lower then the poverty line; this is why tribes have are in the middle of nowhere. You all do not contribute to society nor the economy. But there you go, AGREEING with the same people who put you all out of business centuries back!

        1. Way to stereotype people. Glad to see you can contribute bigotry and ignorance to society. BTW – the three months it took you to reply was wasted time. Your comments amount to the dribble of an old schooler is mad they can no longer look down on others in public. Keep it in the closet.

    2. You stated several FACTS, I would like to know the source? Seems to me your ignorance have you tied up about UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS! I am a Hispanic CONSERVATIVE, you are a loon who feels entitled because you MIGHT BE something other than Hispanic.

      1. Well perhaps you should read the first several parts of my statement these fact are from the government it self. just because you don’t like the facts don’t kill the messenger. as for the “other than Hispanic” guess again, 90 % of my family history is Hispanic so what part of illegal do you not understand.

        1. What government facts. send me links, articles, something… sucks to be you if you really are over 90% Hispanic and feel that entitled.

  6. I think this article actually says things that are untrue. It also seems to support the idea that ‘immigration reform’ as proposed by the Senate is what our newest citizens want, which is surely questionable. It seems another case of NOT doing what is right in the name of political expediency.

  7. If you read the candidate comparisons on NumbersUSA; you will find that Romanoff is for enforcing existing laws while Coffman is not. They are both attorneys so this surprised us greatly.
If Coffman expects to win in our district; he needs to stand firm against amnesty of all kinds but his problem is he is too wishy washy to do this. Romanoff on the other hand wants to give amnesty to illegals but wont stand firm against all these h 1 b visa holders who come here and take US jobs and or reduce our wages (just like illegals do). (He likes the House bill which is the same thing as the Senate bill that Bennet is pushing which is why we make this comment as both bills will massively increase legal immigration while giving amnesty to millions.)
It seems those of us who live in the 6th are in a quandary but if Coffman continues on his path of being wishy washy; his base will just ignore the cd 6 spot on the ballot. One of our friends here already did just that.
NO amnesty. NO work permits. NO nothing but deportation and please reduce legal immigration to under 100000 per year including refugees.

    1. I would not pay much attention to what someone thinks they read about the candidates. 2001-2005, Bob Beauprez was Representative for new District 07. I was on his advisory committee of about 45-50 individuals to discuss senior-veteran-retiree issues, along with police, city officials, educators, and citizens. At same time, I was also on Tom Tancredo’s advisory committee-panel for same discussions his entire period as Representative in District 06. Knew Mike Coffman as Representative, State Treasurer, Army Veteran, Marine Veteran, and he was recalled 2-3 times to assist Iraqi Government to set up their government. Then as State Secretary. All 3 of them believe in enforcing the laws, as written, but amending when needed by proper channels and means. 2001 to 2005, I served as Secretary to United Veterans committee for Colorado (www.UVC.org) until my eyes, ears, and arthritis slowed my activities. 2009 I had 2 audio-versions and 1 in 2011. (stop heart, restart – atrial fibrillations). That really slowed me. But during 2001-2005, and after I knew Andrew (Andy) Romanoff and he was very concerned and accessible in Denver Legislation. I would prefer he stay in Denver county-city and offer a more balanced voice there, which is sorely needed in past few years. I do not support him in representing Aurora and District 06. He does not have experience of Mike Coffman, and we don’t need another Democrat in Washington as long as Harry and Nancy can block needed votes. They get away with it, but we need balanced – both parties working together and will never have that with the nuclear power that Harry initiated. That is going to bite the Democrats in the rear when pendulum swings, and the freebie voters are finding out all is not free. Keep your eyes on the whole picture, and don’t believe the media hype. Media has sold their soul and deserve to fail, as we see with fewer newspapers and magazines. I like Andy as a person but not in Washington. Bennet and Udall have been absolute disappointments to me, knowing their past positions when they actually met with, and represented me and my peers.

      1. They are absolute disappointments! So one sided. They haven’t done anything about illegals, other than keep parroting – we need reform. How about enforcing the laws on the books??!!!

        1. WHOA. What did you expect 2 men to do, when not in official, political office. Both have continued to support Colorado, and oppose the changes done by Ritter and Hickenlooper. If you expect more of them, what have you done about illegals? I have written letters, talked to legislators, and supported my candidates with funding. I feel comfortable with my efforts, but think you expect too much of them. .

        2. Maybe I owe you an apology. Where you referring to Udall and Bennett? If so, absolutely. Both voted party line in Washington. Udall as Representative met with us regularly, and was a solid supporter. As Senator, he consumed too much of Potomac Water, and smelled the vapors. I will vote for Corey in November, and whoever runs against Bennet in 2016, if I am still on green side of grass.

    2. Read your comment and looked at NumberUSA. Sorry, I cannot accept the criticisms I saw there. No one seemed to recognize that the California border to Mexico is much more secure, though there is the problem of small sign where Marine made trip into Mexico, and is still in prison there.
I have driven that freeway many times from California to Texas, diverting south to Ajo and Organ Pipe National Memorial. Love that view into Mexico from there, but have not been there in past 15 years. Signs now 100 miles north of that bordering warning US citizens that Drug Cartels are active between there and the border. How many of you realize that most of the border in Arizona and Texas is Indian land, national forest or wilderness, and border patrol is NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER. Until congress does something about the law, and then building a solid wall or two fences separated with a road between that border patrol can and does patrol regularly, we will continue to have these problems. Just as Obama policies led to flood of children now being dumped onto border patrol, homeland defense, taking them away from their duties where they can go. Military and National guard have bladed and built some roads paralleling the border where they can, but we need full length as passable and patrolled. Can then also put up sensors and cameras, and stop the “hunters” in game areas, guiding and assisting the smugglers. Also stop high speed desert driving that kills so many. Congress, lawyers, advocates, and bleeding hearts get a lot of folks killed, injured, and tears our own country apart. When same people are arrested over and over for illegally crossing the border, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

    3. Contact Coffman and tell him what you have said here. He will listen. He’s been a good representative in the past. Millions $$$ are coming into this state to beat anyone other than a Democrat. Just stick to principles.

  8. We The People don’t want more immigration. The country is over-populated as it is and the illegals from all over the world and south of the border are stealing our standard of living. We want deportation of all illegal aliens and a border wall that can’t be crossed. NO AMNESTY!

  9. When considering the candidates and what media shows, it would behoove everyone to check why so much outside money from east coast is coming into Colorado to effect our gun laws, immigration, and fracking. They are spending a lot of money opposing Mike Coffman, Tom Tancredo, Bob Beauprez, Corey Gardner, and in fact all conservative-republicans. I believe we Westerners can handle our own affairs, and we don’t need to take guidance from east or west coast, when they keep electing same party folks who have their economy screwed up, with high taxes, fees, cost of living. Even re-electing Jerry Brown after the first administration where he fouled up their state energy sources, having to buy water, electric, and fuel from other states. Same goes with Blasio in NYC, who is worse than Bloomberg at being a dictator. If we wanted to live like those folks, we would have voted and lived that in on our own. After NYC got bombed twice, Blasio suspended the Police Intelligence Unit that tried to save them in 2001. Does he think Jihadist have given up?

  10. We should not care about what illegal immigrants think. They are just common criminals, and need to be shipped back to their respective countries in an uncomfortable manner, and never to be allowed citizenship for life because they broke the rules the first time.

  11. Side note for all: Met with Arapahoe County candidates last Wednesday, with Bob Beauprez and Tom Tancredo. As they spoke at podium to all gathered, both recognized “our democratic friend” who was there at back of group recording all speakers. Question: Who pays him since they indicated he shows up everywhere they speak? Young fellow, and no one talked to him, and he did not talk to us? Wonder why Democrats – Progressives are so interested in what we say, hear, or discuss when they outnumber us, and are giving all the freebies to buy votes? Just asking, but I do consider that when I vote my choices. And I suspect our peer groups do same. He was not from newspaper or magazines. And I don’t believe he was invited, though our meeting was open to all.

    1. I don’t know what they are called, but they go to the oppositions meeting just to publicly expose any “non-politically correct” utterances they might make. Disgusting!

      1. Not really “expose”, but to twist words to appear wrong to certain people. Keep adding words we can’t use, and soon we all will have to tweat. I read of WH geek squad, on our tax pads, who do nothing but twist, spin, the recorded words. Would still like to know who pays for that. Not naïve enough to think that comes right out of Dem. war plan. And to think I voted Independent before 2009. Actually voted for the candidates I preferred, splitting my tickets.

  12. For Love of our nation, Impeach
    Obama: “I am not
sorry” his famous terms – we’ve heard these words voiced too many times by
this president. He is not sorry for breaking the law… spying on you…
targeting conservatives… letting innocent Americans die in Benghazi, the
Veterans Administration scandal or for releasing 5 of the most deadly murdering
terrorists from Gitmo. Well we have a message for Obama: we’re not sorry that
you are going to be removed from office! Help the National Tea Party accomplish
this goal. The limp GOP establishments are scared of their own shadow, and
nobody has been held accountable for the majority of violations. Obama broke
Congressional law and negotiating with terrorists, but not communicating within
30 days the release of these animals. This in itself is an impeachable offense.
We need fresh blood in Washington—not the same elderly
men, whose dotage flows slowly through their veins on both sides of the aisle. It’s
sadly laughable incurably inept these people who govern—but maybe it’s not as
    simple as that?

    TELL THESE MORONS IN DC,
WE CANNOT FEED, HOUSE AND MEDICATE THE WORLD. WE CANNOT EVEN FEED OUR OWN KIDS
AND FAMILIES. THIS IDIOT IN THE WHITE HOUSE NEEDS TO GO. NOBODY HAS BEEN DETAINED, HELD
ACCOUNTABLE—NOT OBAMA, NOT ERIC HOLDER, not IRS official Lois Lerner, and all the others.

THIS IS TYRANNY. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET THE
TRUTH FROM THE NATIONAL PRESS? IN FACT THEY ARE CLOSED MOUTHED ABOUT ALL THE
    COVERUPS.

May be it truly is a conspiracy when you
think about it. Collusion between both parties, making us thinks that the
border is well and truly sealed? They both have there agendas; The Republicans
Establishment demanding cheap workers and the Democrats more voters, legal or
illegal? Go and sightsee the border wall in Israel? Built with our
money, it continually keeps dangerous terrorists out. So we have the ability
and money to construct the double layer fence, with a roadway between to
control the border. Then why not prison for employers who hire illegal aliens?
Why not thousands of ICE officers for internal enforcement, instead of just 500
to encompass the whole of our country?
It’s always been just been one big lie since 1986, when we THE AMERICAN
PEOPLE were promised no more Amnesties.

While the Obama Administration continues to
insist the incursion of children from Central America has nothing to do
with its immigration policies, mounting evidence is proving otherwise. As an addition
to a Washington leaked internal memo that
pins this government slack enforcement laws, that Obama had sent out a
directive not to detain illegal aliens and the White House edict that Amnesty
is blowing in the wind, which is accountable for the recent humanitarian crisis
in Texas and Arizona, Jorge Ramos, newscaster of the Spanish-language
television network Univision, additional challenged the Obama account that the flow
is a direct response to violence and poverty in Guatemala, El Salvador, and
    Honduras.

    The
big mouth of Obama has “orchestrated” this immigration mess with no end in
sight. Already the welfare safety-net is already overwhelmed by millions of
citizens; millions of freeloaders already leeching because of the lax system
and thousands more collecting food stamps, Medicaid, and many programs which
are handed out to foreign nationals without any checking. Anything to undermine
Congress mandates is Obama’s illicit game, even in releasing 36.000 of criminal
aliens on America’s streets, with no
    consideration that many were murderers.

    BOTH PARTIES HAVE
NOTIFIED THE PUBLIC THAT RINO ERIC CANTOR BEING OUSTED FROM CONGRESS HAD
NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION? PROVE THEM WRONG BY VOTING FOR
CANDIDATES WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE TEA PARTY.

These are issues the TEA PARTY has in there
agenda and will guarantee if they climb into the front seat of the Senate and
House in DC. THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT AND THE DEMOCRATS HAVE THEIR OWN AGENDA; NOT
THE PEOPLES AGENDA. JOIN THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY.ORG OR YOUR LOCAL AFFILIATE IN
YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND FIGHT FOR AMERICA?

We need new visionaries in Congress who
are not going to sell out or to bow down to Special Interests, to corporate
cronies or the big trade unions, playing the same old continuous record of the
    Republican elite. All you have to do is don’t vote Democrat; don’t vote Republican;
when you go to the ballot box make your decision on who will balance the
federal and state budgets, Remove the Affordable Care Act.

If you want change: removal of illegal aliens; Abolishment
of the IRS; introduce a fair or consumption tax, reduction in government
itself; Returning the Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency
to State control. Building the Keystone pipeline and making America self-sufficient in Energy and not
dependent on foreign oil, gas. Reduce to a minimum of Regulations for growing
businesses. Make corporate welfare a thing of the past. Use the Tea Party
agenda of Ron Paul, The One Cent Solution is
beautifully simple: If the government cuts one cent out of every dollar of its
total spending (excluding interest payments) each year for five years, and then
caps overall federal spending at 18 percent of national income from then on, we
can: Reduce federal spending by $7.5 trillion over 10 years. Balance the budget
    by 2019.
