Members of a Northern Colorado Honor Flight returned May 2 to Colorado after a visit to the nation’s capital.
The flight provided former military members the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C., and see all of the sights that the nation’s capital holds.
Included in the Honor Flight were members that fought in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq. The Northern Colorado Honor Flight program provides transportation, all meals and overnight accommodations for all veterans through donations, with each event including approximately 120 veterans.
