BRIGHTON | Hundreds of snakes have a new home after the house they were living in caught fire.

Plastic tubs filled with more than 1,000 snakes have been moved to a pet store in Thornton. More than a dozen animals and reptiles may have died in the fire.

Two adults and five children also got out safely after the fire broke out early Thursday in Brighton. The home is a total loss.
