A former Adams County construction manager accused in a paving scandal has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft of county funds.
Prosecutors said April 25 that Samuel Gomez is scheduled to be sentenced June 21.
The charges stemmed from a 2008 investigation into allegations that Quality Paving and Quality Resurfacing defrauded county taxpayers by billing Adams County for road work that was never done.
Former Quality Paving owner Jerry Rhea and former Vice President Dennis Coen have been convicted of various theft-related felonies.
