Airport officials said Friday that 5,019,260 passengers traveled through DIA in July, a 1-percent decrease from July 2014. Officials say the decline is mostly due to Frontier Airlines decreasing its seat capacity.

Overall, airport passenger traffic is down by just under 1 percent so far this year compared to last year during the same timeframe. So far this year the airport has seen nearly 30.8 million passengers.
