DENVER | Prosecutors have charged two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a Denver cab driver.
Lynn Kimbrough, a spokeswoman for the Denver District Attorney’s Office, says 19-year-old Dasean Perry and 18-year-old Nicholas McKinney are each charged with one count of first-degree murder.
McKinney, who was 17 at the time, is being charged as an adult. Both are being held without bond.
Investigators say 49-year-old Darren Bloomquist was killed Sept. 5 while picking up a fare near Green Valley Ranch, a gated community northeast of Denver. Metro Taxi says he was shot in the head.
