460th Medical Group Beneficiaries:
Beginning May 23, certain TRICARE beneficiaries (Non-Active Duty Service Members in TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Prime Remote or TRICARE Young Adult and TRICARE Overseas Program beneficiaries traveling in the U.S.) enrolled in a TRICARE Prime benefit program will be able to receive urgent care services two times per fiscal year (Oct. 1 through Sept. 30) without a referral through the TRICARE Urgent Care Pilot program.
The Urgent Care Pilot program will allow beneficiaries to “self-refer” to a TRICARE network provider, TRICARE-authorized provider or TRICARE-authorized urgent care or convenience care clinic for urgent care services.
In order to find an authorized Urgent care within your area go to https://www.uhcmilitarywest.com and enter your zip code in the urgent/convenience care search box. You can also call United Healthcare at 1-877-988-9378 to find the nearest urgent care.
The following beneficiaries are not eligible to participate in the Urgent Care Pilot Program:
1.) An active duty Service member (including guard/reserve members activated for more than 30 consecutive days) enrolled in TRICARE Prime
2.) Any beneficiary enrolled in the US Family Health Plan
3.) Beneficiaries utilizing TRICARE Standard and TRICARE Extra or TRICARE for Life
