The cast of PHAMALY’s summer production of the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” should be familiar to anyone who has caught a show by the troupe at the Aurora Fox theater in the past few years. The show, which will run at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in July, will feature plenty of PHAMALY veterans, including Daniel Traylor (the star of “The Diviners” and “The Elephant Man”), Jeremy Palmer (the lead from “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and “Barefoot in the Park”) and Aurora resident Mark Dissette (another lead in “Elephant Man” and “Business.”).
Traylor will play the lead role of Seymour, Palmer will take on the role of the twisted dentist Orin Scrivello and Dissette will take on the role of flower-shop patron Mr. Mushnik. Don Mauk, another Aurora resident, will serve as the voice of the killer plant Audrey II and Kathi Wood, a relative newcomer to the PHAMALY family, will play the lead female role of Audrey.
The show is set to run from July 12 to Aug. 5 at the Space Theatre at the DCPA, 14th and Curtis streets in Denver. Tickets start at $17. Information: phamaly.org.
