DENVER | An injured bear that wandered into a pizza shop in Colorado Springs has been returned to the wild.
KCNC-TV reports (https://cbsloc.al/1SPsTeh) that the cub made its way into the store through an open door in September. The animal had fallen asleep in the back of the shop on a rack of boxes and was tranquilized before being removed.
The bear, which had been hit by a car and had a broken paw, has spent the last four months in rehabilitation along with two other orphaned cubs.
All three bears have been relocated to a den built for them by state wildlife officers.
