AURORA | Aurora police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver and passenger of a car last seen Wednesday night in northwest Aurora, which they say could be linked to a possible kidnapping and domestic violence incident.
Police said the incident was recorded on a public safety camera outside in the 1400 block of Emporia Street at about 9 p.m.
“Video from the incident shows a male and a female engaged initially in a verbal confrontation,” Aurora police spokesperson Gabby Easterwood said in a statement. “The male then forces the female into a maroon Toyota 4Runner equipped with a roof rack. The vehicle leaves the area traveling south on Emporia and then west on East 14th Avenue.”
Police are looking for both the occupants and the car.
Police said anyone with information can call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000, police said.
