DENVER | Authorities are investigating four cases of shattered vehicle windows in the Denver area following a string of broken window reports in northern Colorado.
The latest three cases happened early Wednesday morning in the same area in Aurora within less than three hours. On Tuesday, a driver on Interstate 25 in Westminster reported that the passenger window of his GMC pickup truck shattered.
While it’s likely the three Aurora cases are linked, police spokeswoman Judy Lutkin says so far she there’s nothing to indicate any connection to what happened in Westminster or northern Colorado.
Westminster police have notified the task force investigating three recent shootings and shattered vehicle window reports in northern Colorado of their case. That task force hasn’t found any connection between the broken windows and the shootings.
