COLORADO SPRINGS | Police have arrested a 22-year-old man after finding two homemade chemical bottle bombs in the Garden of the Gods parking lot in western Colorado Springs.
The Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/T0v8nh ) Zachary Sirko is facing a charge of possessing an incendiary or explosive device. Police also say they are looking for a 21-year-old woman in connection with the bombs.
Police and firefighters responding to reports of a chemical spill Saturday found bottles filled with chemicals that can produce enough pressure to burst and cause damage. The bottles were safely disposed of by a regional bomb squad.
It’s unclear if Sirko has hired an attorney.
