By most people’s standards, 2020 was a challenging year. For Robert Dennis, it was that and then some. The longtime fixture of Aurora girls basketball contracted COVID-19 in the early stages of the pandemic, spent several dicey weeks in the hospital as a “guinea pig” for new treatments of the unknown virus (to the tune of more than $1 million in medical bills).
