DENVER | Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has left Sunday’s game against Milwaukee with a mild sprain in his left hand.

The Rockies announced he is day to day.

Gonzalez leapt into the right-field wall trying to catch Ryan Braun’s triple to lead off the top of the fourth inning. Gonzalez finished the inning, but was replaced by Brandon Barnes in the top of the fifth.

Gonzalez is hitting .237 with 10 home runs and in 59 games this season. He was limited to 70 games in 2014 because of left knee surgery and another surgery to remove a benign tumor in his left index finger.
