COLORADO SPRINGS | Ryan Warner says he’s ready to sign after the Colorado Rockies chose the 6-foot-7 right-handed pitcher with its third-round supplemental pick.

The Rockies are offering the 2012 Pine Creek High School graduate a $363,700 signing bonus to start his baseball career ascent and put off college studies.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, Warner is glad to stay in Colorado. Besides going 7-1 with a 2.18 ERA, he struck out 89 batters in 51 innings pitched.
