AURORA | The 2018-19 winter prep sports season begins officially Monday with practice for boys and girls basketball, wrestling, girls swimming and ice hockey practice.

The opening day of the regular season for all sports is Nov. 26.

Last winter, Aurora had the Class 5A state champions in boys and girls basketball — Grandview for each — plus the ice hockey state champion in Regis Jesuit and a 5A state wrestling winner in Grandview’s Fabian Santillan.
