BOYS 4X100 METER RELAY: Half of the six Aurora teams to compete in the preliminaries earned spots in the top nine that moved along to the final at 3:10 p.m. Saturday. Fastest among the qualifiers was Eaglecrest (Eric Hill, Jeffery Poku, Noah Brown and Peace Worah) with a time of 41.82 seconds, which was slightly faster than the 41.93 seconds turned in by Cherokee Trail (Jayden Hughes, Marquis Jamison, Cayden Sweets and Nick Hoffsetz). Regis Jesuit’s team of Alexander Sayatovic, Lawson Douglas, Jaden Thermidor and Michael Gambrill also grabbed a finals spot with a 42.04. Vista PEAK Prep (42.45), Overland (42.77) and Grandview (42.89) did not advance to the finals.
