WESTMINSTER | The Gateway boys continued their strong season on the track by winning the championship of the Mountain Range Invitational April 14 at the North Stadium.

The Olys scored just four points at the meet in 2017, but finished with 92 this time around.

Junior Elijah Williams won the 200 and 400 meters, Yonas Mogos took the 3,200 meters and lost the 1,600 by a hair, the 4×200 relay team of Williams, Michkaleke Baker, Daiquan Hill and Kevin Traylor Jr. cruised to victory.

Traylor Jr. and Hill finished 1-2 in the long jump and Preston Hoffman added top-five finishes in both throwing events for Gateway.
