Regis Jesuit High School graduate Ana Holland earned her way onto a team representing the United States abroad.

The sprint triple-crown winner at the Class 5A state track meet in May and recently christened Gatorade Colorado Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year won the 200 meter race at the U.S. Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships June 20-23 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Holland’s victory — which came in a personal best time of 23.04 seconds — qualified her for a spot on the 2013 Pan American Junior Athletics Championship Aug. 23-25 in Medellin, Colombia.

The University of Virginia signee is also expected to run on the U.S. 4×100 meter relay team and may also compete in the open 100 meters, in which she finished third, according to Regis Jesuit coach Ryan Taylor.
