FEB. 7: The wrestling regular season nears its conclusion with a trio of Centennial League matches, highlighted by Grandview’s 7 p.m. trip to Cherokee Trail. Eaglecrest visits Smoky Hill and Overland is at Mullen at at the same time….The Vista PEAK girls basketball team plays host to Prairie View at 7 p.m. in a key EMAC contest. The Bison won a non-league matchup with the ThunderHawks by 30 points in December.

FEB. 8: The Class 5A girls state swim meet — which features a combined 55 individuals and 17 relay teams from seven Aurora programs — opens with swimming prelims at 10 a.m. at the Veterans’ Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton….A big contest in the race for the Continental League boys basketball title comes when Regis Jesuit pays a 6:30 p.m. visit to Mountain Vista. The Regis Jesuit ice hockey team welcomes Monarch into Family Sports Center for a 5:40 p.m. puck drop in a high-power late regular season contest.

FEB. 9: The Class 5A girls state swim meet concludes at VMAC in Thornton, with divers set to compete in prelims at 9 a.m. with the swimming and diving finals set for 3:30 p.m….For the second time in just over a week, the two local ice hockey programs square off when Cherry Creek and Regis Jesuit take the Family Sports Center ice together at 3:10 p.m. The Bruins need a win to gain a split with the Raiders in the Foothills Conference series….The EMAC girls basketball championship could be on the line when Vista PEAK plays host to Rangeview at 5:30 p.m. in the first game of a girls-boys doubleheader between the two Aurora Public Schools programs. The Bison won a four-point contest over the Raiders in a recent non-league meeting….The Centennial League has four girls-boys basketball doubleheaders on the slate highlighted by Smoky Hill’s visit to Overland. The Buffaloes’ boys won by one point against the Trailblazers in the first meeting. Cherokee Trail plays host to Cherry Creek, Eaglecrest visits Arapahoe and Grandview goes to Mullen in the other doubleheaders….The second girls state wrestling tournament begins at 9 a.m. at Thornton High School with four qualifiers from Aurora programs in the mix.

FEB. 12: The showdown for the Continental League girls basketball championship and possibly the top spot in the Class 5A RPI will be on the line when Regis Jesuit visits Highlands Ranch for a 7 p.m. contest. The girls get the later slot in a doubleheader that features a boys game at 5:30 p.m.

FEB. 13: Another round of Centennial League girls-boys basketball doubleheaders includes Grandview’s visit to Eaglecrest, while Overland is home to Cherry Creek, Smoky Hill visits Mullen and Cherokee Trail goes to Arapahoe.
