AURORA | Rangeview cruised in the first EMAC South girls golf minor on March 14 at Fitzsimons Golf Course.

The Raiders had three of the top five individuals and posted a team score of 452, easily outdistancing the only other team of five competing to post a score, Aurora Central at 545.

Junior Julia Kim’s 95 paced the field, while teammates Danae Bushman (115) and Jasmine Trevizo (118) finished 4th and 5th, respectively.

Behind Kim on the leaderboard was Hinkley senior Kasydi Valentine, who turned in a 98.

Gateway sophomore Malorie Williamson — like Kim and Bushman a qualified for last season’s Class 5A girls state golf tournament — finished third with a 110.

Adams City, Gateway and Hinkley did not have enough golfers to post a team score.

The next EMAC minor is scheduled for 11 a.m. March 20 at Springhill Golf Course.
