AURORA | The Grandview girls golf team put the finishing touches a Centennial League championship on Thursday with a nine-stroke victory in the final league tournament of the season.

Playing on the CommonGround Golf Course that will be the site of the Class 5A girls state golf tournament in a few weeks, senior Morgan Sahm fired an even-par 71 to pace the Wolves, which saw freshman Amy Chitkoksoong card a 77 and Caitlin O’Donnell add an 85.
Grandview won its fourth straight league tournament since finishing four strokes behind Cherry Creek in the opening tournament and coach Mary Danielson’s team ended up with a 36-stroke advantage in the final standings.
The Bruins finished second, followed by Arapahoe in third, Cherokee Trail in fourth and Mullen in fifth.
Smoky Hill freshman Amisha Singh shot a 77 to tie with Chitkoksoong for third individually in the final tournament.
Sahm got off to a strong start with birdies on her first two holes and stayed under par for the first 15 holes before back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 16 and 17. A birdie on the par-5 No. 18 brought her in at even par.
Chitkoksoong made birdies on two of her first four holes and also sat under par through 14 holes, but shot seven-over on the final four holes to finish six-over.
Next up for Aurora’s Centennial League teams are 5A regional tournaments, with their finish in the final standings determining where they will play.
As league champion, Grandview is scheduled to play in the Southern Regional in Colorado Springs.
