The Wolves shot a plus-33 249 to finish atop the large programs at the  multi-classification meet at Spring Valley Golf Club, led by strong finishes from Morgan Ryan, Shar Lewis and Sydney Szarka.

Coach Mary Danielson’s Grandview team played without its top player in sophomore Amy Chitkoksoong, but Ryan stepped up and led the way. She collected a pair of birdies on her way to a 7-over-par 79, while Lewis was two strokes in back of that with an 81 and Szarka carded an 89 to round out the Wolves’ scorers.

Kent Denver won the smaller school portion of the tournament with a score of a plus-7 223.

Grandview returns to Centennial League play at 10 a.m. Wednesday when it plays at Fitzsimons Golf Course. The Wolves trail Cherry Creek by one stroke for the league lead going into the tournament.
