AURORA | While Cherry Creek opens a wider lead in the Centennial League team chase, so too, is Grandview junior Amy Chitkoksoong.

In the third league tournament of the season — and first of 18 holes — Chitkoksoong carded a 1-under-par 71 at Aurora Hills April 4 to further bolster her individual lead with two tournaments remaining.

Chitkoksoong finished three strokes behind Cherry Creek’s Payton Canon, whose Bruins widened the gap between them and the Wolves in the team standings with a 24-stroke victory that boosted their advantage to 38 strokes.
