AURORA | Sophomores Morgan Sahm and Emily Jung finished in the top five individually during Thursday’s Centennial League girls golf tournament at Aurora Hills G.C., helping the Wolves finish third as a team.

In the league’s first 18-hole tournament after nine-hole meets at South Suburban G.C. and Kennedy G.C., Sahm carded a nine-over-par 81 to finish alone in fourth place, while Jung’s 82 put her in a group of three players tied for fifth.

The rest of the field finished well behind individual winner Hannah Wood of Arapahoe, who topped her own school record by shooting a 68 to win by seven strokes. Wood’s Warriors also placed first as a team with a score of 311, well ahead of runner-up Cherry Creek (332).

Cherokee Trail came in fifth as a team with senior Faith Hope’s 85 leading the way, while sixth-place Eaglecrest was paced by senior Katie Kellogg at an even 100.
