Regular season: The girls flag football regular season begins on Aug. 17 and concludes Oct. 19, with each team permitted to play a maximum of 15 regular season contests.
Postseason: Twenty teams in both classifications qualify for the postseason, which begins Oct. 22-23. In 5A, there will be five automatic qualifiers (league winners) plus 15 at-large qualifiers based on CHSAA’s Seeding & Selection Index, while four of the 4A qualifiers will be league winners and 16 will be at-large. Sites for championship contests are yet to be determined.
