2012 FIELD HOCKEY SEASON
Changes — Rules changes are few for 2012, but all field hockey players will be required to wear protective eyewear, per National Federation of State High School Associations revised rules. The postseason format will remain the same, with the top eight teams with regular season records seeded in the bracket, with the higher seed playing at home. Aurora has just three teams this season among 14 total across the state, with Eaglecrest’s players joining Smoky Hill as a co-op.
