Senior Natasha Edge scored 18 points, senior Adaeze Obinnah added 16 and juniors Katie Cunningham and Natalie Halbleib chipped in eight apiece as top-seeded Grandview advanced to the 5A quarterfinals for the second straight season with a 59-33 Sweet 16 victory over visiting fourth-seeded Rocky Canyon Tuesday night.

Coach Josh Ulitzky’s Wolves (23-2) moved on to Thursday’s Great 8 round at the Denver Coliseum, where they will play third-seeded Chaparral (19-5) — which beat second-seeded Denver East 55-48.

Game times for the four quarterfinal games will be announced Wednesday morning by the Colorado High School Activities Association. Aurora’s other No. 1 seed, Regis Jesuit, is also among the eight qualifiers as it downed visiting fifth-seeded Fort Collins 54-40.

Grandview lost to Highlands Ranch last season in the Great 8.
