AURORA | Zach Suter, a team captain who will try to help the Regis Jesuit boys swim team win its 18th Class 5A state championship in the spring, has verbally committed to Seton Hall University.

Suter contributed heavily to the Raiders’ most recent championship, swimming on the championship-winning 200 yard freestyle relay team along with Ben Fry (a U.S. Naval Academy pledge), Grayson Magruder and Clark Smith, who recently committed to the University of Texas.

Suter — who also won a state championship in 2011 with the same relay — also scored individually for Regis Jesuit in the 100 freestyle (8th place) and 200 freestyle (11th). He is a two-time member of the Aurora Sentinel’s All-City Boys Swim Team.

Seton Hall is located in South Orange, N.J.
