AURORA | The Aurora Sentinel is proud to announce a partnership with StreamItSports to live stream 10 Aurora prep football games in the 2016 season.

Starting with a Sept. 1 matchup between two city programs — Eaglecrest and Smoky Hill (live stream) — the Aurora Sentinel and StreamItSports will bring a package that will highlight a variety of local schools from the Aurora Public Schools, Cherry Creek School District and Regis Jesuit High School.

The games will be streamed online at no cost and can be viewed live anywhere in the world where internet is available. StreamItSports broadcast the inaugural A-Town All-Stars Basketball Game in March (see replay here.)

StreamItSports’ talented team includes well-known local voice Marty Cesario, who will be joined occasionally by Sentinel sports editor Courtney Oakes on the broadcast, which will also include a variety of features and player profiles. A full replay of each week’s game will be available a day or two after the game in addition to a highlight package from the contest.

Preview capsules, photo galleries and game coverage will be available on our page ATownGOTW.com, while more football coverage will be posted on the Football page on aurorasentinel.com. Follow the game on Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat as well.

Pending final approval of the Colorado High School Activities Association and schools, the broadcast slate includes several powerhouse matchups, including a parochial school clash between fierce rivals Regis Jesuit and Mullen, plus a non-league meeting of Grandview and Cherry Creek, who resume their rivalry outside of the Centennial League and the Wolves going against rival Cherokee Trail in a neighborhood battle.

Later in the season, new league matchups between Arapahoe and Overland (Week 6) and Eaglecrest and Rangeview (Week 7) should have large impacts on conferences races, while the final three weeks of the season will be determined by key matchups with playoff implications.
