AURORA | The Vista PEAK football team has finally cranked up its offense and its paying off in the win-loss column.

Gateway (1-3) got a monster game from junior running back Kevin Traylor Jr., who totaled 220 all-purpose yards (178 rushing) and scored twice, while junior Ajonte Manlove and senior Anthony Byndum caught touchdown passes for coach Shane Ward’s squad.

Vista PEAK followed up a 56-point effort in its previous game against Adams City with 54 more points, opening the scoring in the first quarter with two Derrick Smashum touchdown passes of 80 or more yards to Augustus and Daniel Smashum.
